Maia’s professional experience includes 14 years as a speech language pathologist in early childhood and medical settings. Maia holds a Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of TX at Austin and a Master’s in Public Health from the University of WA. Maia has worked with the DCYF ESIT State Leadership Team since September 2018, where she develops and implements training and guidance materials for ESIT providers statewide.
