Mealtime is often a challenge for caregivers, childcare professionals, and teachers. This presentation will provide an overview of common challenges as well as strategies that can be easily embedded into existing mealtime routines. We will discuss how to encourage new food interactions and participation in mealtime routines for all young children.

We will discuss how to take context into account when developing a plan for supporting mealtime challenges to ensure support is culturally responsive and aligns with the values of families and providers.
